Project details

The Municipality of Sacile, in the province of Pordenone, north-east of Italy, is carrying out an extensive redevelopment project of the green spaces of the city, which involves the creation of a large park. This project is part of the municipal ecological network and is divided into two main parts: an urban park, which combines the green spaces in the city in a single system; A park outside the town, characterized by large green areas and sports facilities, which integrates perfectly with the surrounding agricultural landscape. The design of the park is inspired by the plot of cultivated fields and plots that characterize the agricultural fabric of the area, and fits harmoniously into the surrounding context. In addition, the wetland inside the park acts as a river expansion tank, ensuring the hydraulic safety of the territory.
