The large park, located in a densely urbanized area, is an important element of a system of interconnected open spaces. This system is structured around the network of rivers and streams that make up the “nervous system” of this living entity. The design of the new park tells the story of the man who shaped these hostile territories to make them outdoor gardens, and draws inspiration from the reinterpretation of agricultural textures and their reinterpretation to create a new landscape. Particular attention was paid to the environmental sustainability of the intervention, both from an economic point of view and in terms of maintenance and management.
